1. A High Performing Club

HAWKS REACH HIGH!

Hawks Lacrosse Club was awarded High Performing Club status in 2014 – taking us into the top three of Women’s Lacrosse Clubs in the whole country!

The award was given to us by English Lacrosse, which carefully assessed all aspects of our Club. To make the grade we had to demonstrate our commitment to working with players of all ages and abilities to help them realise their full potential as players. The award is a testament to all our players, supporters and volunteer coaches – and all the hard work around development and leadership that goes on behind the scenes.

Our High Performance Club status means the Hawks now have the opportunity to work more closely with English Lacrosse and develop even better opportunities for women in Bucks and Herts to enjoy the game.

“This is great news for everyone involved with the Hatch End Hawks", commented Maggie Hughes. “But the hard work doesn’t stop here. Thanks to English Lacrosse’s support we’re now looking to deliver specialist coaching sessions and enhance our dedicated coaching squad. We’ll also be working closely with players who could benefit from English Lacrosse’s Talent Pathway and developing new links with local primary and secondary schools and colleges"
