A summer of International Success for Hawks Players

This summer, a number of our current Hawks players have excelled for their respective countries on the international stage.

In the first event of the summer in June, England sent a development team to the Prague Cup. Julie Wise, Eleanor Bruce & Charlotte Wright secured a second place finish, following a highly competitive final against the Czech Republic who would, 1 month later go on to finish 4th at the European Championships.

In July, the England Senior Team competed in the European Championships held in Netanya, Israel. Hawks: Emma Oakley, Emma Adams and Emily Gray all featured in the squad who went on to win the tournament, beating the hosts 10-7 in the final.

The final event of the summer was the U19 World Championships held in Peterborough, Canada. An impressive 6 of our Hawks players competed in the championships for England, Wales & Scotland. The final standings were; England - 4th Place, Wales - 7th Place, Scotland - 11th Place.
