Hawks 2s 13- Reigate 6

Hawks dominated play on Sunday right from the first draw where the ball went into our attack; and their defence throughout the match seemed unsettled by hawks' players speed and stick skills. When the ball came down into the defensive end there was good communication and organisation meaning that hawks went in at half time 7-0 up.
A special mention has to go to Liv who normally plays straight defence but as we were lacking a goalie she made her goalie debut on Sunday with some very impressive saves.
The second half went a very similar way with hawks maintaining most of the possession with some great fast breaks down the field as well as nice settled play round the attack. However, the defence were caught off guard occasionally with a few mix ups allowing goals to be scored by Reigate.
Overall it was an impressive performance by hawks 2's with a victory of 13-6 meaning another 3 points and the continuation of a great start to the season. Hari was named player of the match; she scored multiple times and even caught a pass whilst getting up from slipping over! It was a great performance from her throughout the match.
